Assistance with various travel and transport options
NDIS participants may be affected by mobility or other issues. We provide support to the participant, for travel to and from appointments, their place of employment, or to access the community.
This assistance enables you to travel independently or with the helping hand of one of our experienced staff members who can aid with training to use public transportation or assistive technology to facilitate travel. Transport options can include:
  • walking and cycling
  • cars and public transport
  • visiting your friends and family
  • going to the movies or a concert
  • going out shopping or visiting a museum
  • attending a sporting event
  • going to a doctor’s appointment.
Provida Services can arrange a wheelchair-accessible vehicle on request. Travelling costs are covered by the participants.
