Community access, social, recreational, and civic activities
With the help of this support, a participant is able to participate in community, social, and recreational activities. Learn how to use public transportation, and develop skills for community, social, and recreational participation, which enables the participant to build strong relationships with other people and the community. Services might include:
- visiting your friends and family
- going out to the movies or a concert
- going places for fun, like shopping or visiting a museum
- active hobbies, like bike riding or dancing
- playing sport, like tennis or basketball
- learning new skills like art classes
